Weddings, weddings, weddings!

Hi All,

Apologies for the absence from the world of blogging - things have been busy, work, films, craft and biggest of all, two weddings. These weddings were of two of my friends and Cards by Lauren helped with invitations, everything paper based and in the case of one friend - event styling. It has been a lot of work but great fun! Despite all of the work, it is worth the effort when I get to see the bride and grooms faces when they look around their wedding!

An outdoor wedding - styling, creating and set-up!

This wedding was lovely! Not only was it two of the loveliest people getting married but I also had so many great people help with the production of everything - over 200 windmills is not an easy task! 

Now, onto the next wedding! This was a more formal affair, but the place cards had a touch of quirkiness - using hot air balloons full of personalised m&ms! I had a great time with this couple planning their invites, colour scheme and look! Despite putting a rib out of place (by sitting in the same spot for too long creating the place cards!) it was worth it. These two had an amazing day and were really happy with how everything looked! Plus, I really enjoyed eating all of the M&Ms!

Guest designer with a Flourish!

Hi All,

Just a quick post to let you all know that I am lucky enough to be the January Guest Design Team Member for a fabulous Victorian-based scrapbooking company - Flourish with a Bling! Flourish with a Bling make wonderful scrapbooking embellishments, in fab colours and designs.

It was great to be able to play with such gorgeous products and let the creative juices flow! Here is one of my creations:

This week is my last week of holidays and I relocated my craft space - it's amazing how a different space can reinvigorate creativity!

A recent crafty 'mo'ment!

I am still on holidays - hanging out, crafting, reading, blogging and just generally relaxing! For the first time in a long time I am having a real relax - which has certainly been great for my card making mojo!

I've had a great chance as well to test out the new Big Shot! I am a little bit in love with the Top Note die! Below is an example of something I created combining two of my favourite things - the top note and my moustache stamp! It is a card and a gift box/bag for a friends birthday! Hope you enjoy it!!
